Who from our current squad does not yet have a full time deal?

The following names aren't on the stickied thread, not sure whether the likes of Bate, Bullock, Briscoe already have deals

I would keep Joe Bullock .At a push Bate .

Definitely give Anthony bate a new full time deal. He gets better with every game, he will be a great young player in a full time environment

Im not sure about a full time contract though , I agree he is young , and could improve , but I think Joe Bullock is a better prospect , and we gave Craig Briscoe a 4 year contract a couple of years ago

I said then it wasn't a wise move .He hasn't done much at Barrow .

Bullock, bate and maybe duffy. The rest can go. Aspinwall been a really poor signing, brown did not get a chance. Maden/littler great servants, but clearly at end of careers. Thornley good for this league, but need more quality, govin should imo never of been signed.

Ps i forgot. Briscoe can go, clearly not good enough. Harsh, no just being realistic

Craig Briscoe has been injured for some time and only just getting his match fitness back, and having seen on video all his games for Barrow I can say that he has never let them down, playing in a beaten team isn't the best way to judge a player, especially when not having seen them play in that team.

I'm with Fred, on Briscoe. Personally I would give him an opportunity from what I have seen.

Anyone know why Brown has been ignored for selection since his bad game at Barrow?

Surely it must be more than just that bad game ?

Possible clash of personalities perhaps ?

It was his defence Lynda it wasn't good enough.

Fred for me Briscoe just isn't up to the Standard we need , he may have been injured for a while , but I have seen enough of him at Leigh to have this opinion , also I watched him at Judes .We have a very good pack this season , he wouldn't break into it and next season we need to improve again , Craig was given a 4 year contract , im sure before our present BOM came in , I think it was a mistake .As for playing in a beaten side , so is Joe Bullock but he does stand out every time he plays , again I don't think any player lets his team down , as they all give everything , we need to be looking at which players will develop in the coming seasons , if we want to rise to SL level , its no good being a nice lad or dependable , of course this is just my opinion .

Clearly others disagree with your opinion and this doesn't make them wrong no matter how many times you may repeat an opinion

Sometimes players take a backward step in their development due to circumstances and then take two forward. Adam Higson is a prime example. In my opinion Craig Briscoe will Be another based on what I have seen in the past. Lets see what happens. I still do respect other people's opinions especially when they can be validated with facts
