Obviously, we all want a win, but if that does not happen, what will satisfy you as a Leigh fan. What are you looking for from the game. What are your hopes? What will constitute a good performance in your opinion. What do you reckon folks?

4,000+ crowd cheering the lads to the rafters after keeping within 20-24 points of the world champions.

Well if we get within 40 we will have done well bearing in mind the thinness of our squad and the undoubted quality of theirs.



Whatever' I am confident our lads will give it their best shot.



Lets hope Leeds have an off day.

I agree that a 4000+ gate would be superb. It would be great to create the best atmosphere we have ever had at LSV. I would like to see an early try from Leigh to perhaps try and create some doubt in the Leeds camp and to boost our lads and our crowd. Getting an early foothold will be vital for us in making this match competitive, just as we did against SL opposition in the CC last season. I am sure all the lads will give absolutely everything and that is all we can ask.

A lot of people will describe this game as "Leigh's Cup Final"!! That's fine as, on the whole, we have a pretty good record in cup finals....and especially Challenge Cup finals!!





A decent crowd (which, by all accounts, we appear to be heading toward!), and a performance from the lads that shows the commitment and honesty they have displayed all season, and I'll be ecstatic (and ho!!)



It's not about the result........I'll be happy with the golden point again, if that's what it takes!!





And - if the rugby gods do decide to shine down on us.......could you make it even sweeter, by arranging Saints in the semi-final??

Play with pride and passion, result doesn't matter, the Town supports the club and we get a good crowd.

The Watcher expects that we will be beaten quite easily in the end, however there is no reason why a super effort from the Leigh players will keep the scores pretty close until around 50/55 mins. From then on The Watcher can see Leeds running in a number of trys. A crowd of 5000/6000 should be a given. Good luck to all the lads from The Watcher.
