If we were to get a SL team at home would like Widnes rather than London as London would not see any increase on gates, whereas Widnes would.

Correct yesterday London brought about 3 car loads maximum.

Regardless that is a winnable game, however getting a result should come first and revenue second. Would you rather play Wigan at home and make a decent amount of money or have the chance of beating a London side and progressing to the next stage?

Thats the thing. You wont beat London and you wont make any money off the game. Ideally its a case of a winnable tie against someone from this or the lower league or a big money spinner against a team with a following at home so the big team cant fiddle the attendance away.

Much the same as Widnes in recent years then?





Every tie has it's pro's and con's. Hope for a home tie and take it from there.

The only team we would have even half a chance of beating from above is widnes. I feel that london are worse than widnes, but the powers that be would simply not let an expansion club lose, just like when we spanked catalans last year. I'd like to play the Tamar at home, or the next rubbishest team, and then the next worst team after that, until eventually we get a home quarter final vs wigan.

If we get into some kind of form I reckon we could have a chance, as for Widnes I think they would beat us comfortably!

Any game that maxmises income is what we want.

With having such a small squad the less games we play the better
