Is this match definintely being played on the Sunday? Heard a couple of different people mention it might get switched to the Saturday but haven't seen anything official. Just looking at hotels to make a weekend of it

Don't think the date or venue has been confirmed yet.

I was told that we had spoke to Gateshead and they wanted the game switched to Saturday, but theres nothing been mentioned since.

That will depend on whether their ground is available on the Saturday because of sharing with football and athletics, so they may have to move it elsewhere. Would hope it will be sorted shortly (though I can't go anyroad).

Gateshead asked Leigh to switch to the Saturday, and then found that they couldn't use the stadium that day, either!! I think the game is being played at Newcastle Falcons RU, but am not sure which day it's on, now!



Gateshead website doesn't obviously have any fixtures on it. Thought it was only us that didn't keep our website up to date!

i hope they make a decision doon, not bothered which day its on really, but if had a choice would choose the sun, and i am sure leyther matt woukd prefer sun.
