Now that the players have ticked a box, the rest is up to the fans.



I believe the club is still a couple of hundred short of the average 2,500 attendance they need.



Last 3 home games of crowds of 3,000+ would see to that.

But doesnt the average need to be over the 3 seasons running up to the application process?

Don't think so - I don't think Fax's average was 2500 over the past three seasons, but they achieved it last season.

One season only and knowing the rfl they'll probably say the 2013 season. Fax were allowed to fudge it so it looked like there was competition for the SL place up for grabs.

we should do what others do - give 1000 tickets away to schools and count them all whether they show up or not.

We need bigger gates to stay in existence. That's the only box we need to tick and think about at the moment.

Totally agree mate , what gets to me is our fair weather fans , on Sunday night at the LSV , welcoming back Basil and the lads , was a good crowd ,but there were people there ive never seen in my life , i know i dont know all the fans , but as a home and away supporter you get to know the regular faces.



Even Shandy Bass made an appearance



,and a very loud guy at the front , never seen him before, it will be interesting to see what the crowd is on Sunday , and whether these FANS come again.

Personnally until we can draw 4,000 paying spectators , there isnt much point going anywhere , because anybody who thinks we will increase our fan base IN SL is living on Planet ZOG

We did have a big help from some large away followings though.

We are discussing leigh fans here , and I'd beg to differ , look at the last 2/3 attendances and then take off the away fans ?

I think the London home game showed up roughly what the average was for actual home supporters that season.
