Good. I had a chat with him at the players do last year and he was full of praise for our club and loved the lads. He has done nothing wrong for us so I hope Matty keeps his form and his first team place. Top man.

All four centres on show at the hj played well , blythes duel with welham was a treat to watch, no doubt he is a SL player, and if i coached wire, i'd have him in before bridge every time!

Quite probably, but that's only as circumstance following King's injury.

Nothing would give me greater pleasure than Matty not to play at all for us this year , it would mean him forcing his way into the starting 17 at Wire , and I would be happy for that to happen



Last season he put nothing short of 100 percent for us , and we should thank him for that

It could also mean that our centres are playing so well, he can't force his way into our team!

That scenario hadn't even entered my head and I'd be very surprised (and worried!) if we contributed to the wages of the 'duals' if they aren't turning out for us!

Never rated him as a SL player and tbh thought you'd get him full time this season but been exceptional for the wire tonight!
