Just wondering if anyone else listened to "Rugby League Extra" on Thursday Night 6 PM.



K.P. was the guest along with Jackson Hastings.



Must admit I missed the first few minutes, but listened to the rest on the way to work.



Near the end K.P. opened up a bit and the way I understood it was as follows:



1. There is no investor as yet



2. Leigh will go part time from next season



3. K.P. is contracted until the end of this season and even he doesn't know if he will be here at the end of the season.



4. This was the weird one - I am certain that he said there may not be a Leigh Centurions next year, but there will definatley be a club - no idea what that meant.



I am sure there are a few out there who can download the pod thingy and have another listen and clarify.

Not trying to make a "negative" thread but I would have thought someone else may have heard the program and mentioned it, but no-one has.

U could say with the words keiron spoke that there was no way he would have signed some of the players and he wasn't happy with there attitude and performances but not a lot he could do as he wasn't in charge

With respect, that is all history.



More interesting is the Trevor Hunt suggestion that the club operating from LSV might not be Leigh Centurions.

A suggestion that came from 'left field' and one that KP totally refuted.

Didn't hear the programme so did not know that.



Still a bit interesting to know where the remark came from.

Only Trevor would know that 'rb'. At the time, I thought it was just one of these remarks that journalists throw in to 'fish' for an answer, but who knows, eh?

What was Purtill's position within the club?

If the club has to into liquidation the present set-up which includes the name "Centurions" will be dissolved, A new club can be formed but will not carry that name.

The present ' set up ' is a limited company under the name ' Sporting Club Leigh ' incorporated in 2002/3 , the name Leigh Centurions was used previously to that and could be afterwards
