Can I break the trend here and just want us to win today? All this if we get beat is better as we play our way in rubbish. Why play more games than you have to?

If I was Wire or Leeds I would aim to win today to keep a bit of confidence in the side, take the rest, flip a coin for the CC then get stuck in to whoever it was, then try to do the biz in the GF. End of!

I just don't see us beating Leeds twice in the playoffs. If we lose today that'll be some comfort but if we win I'd hope we won't meet again.

Similar to Saints last year, I feel the same way.



I don't really want to look beyond todays game, but a win today will almost definitely give Leeds a home tie against Saints, and then we can use clubcall to send them to Wigan whilst we take on Huddersfield/Hull (surely we would buck the trend and pick Hudds over Leeds).



Of course all this conjecture about clubcall is totally irrelevant unless we win today.

Why any of the other play-off teams would want to play us given our finals record is an absolute mystery. I wouldn't have been surprised if we were the bookies favourites to win the whole shebang because of our play-off record but which ever way it goes today it makes for fascinating stuff. I wouldn't rule out Saints turning one of the top over if they get a shot at them.

I don't think Leeds fancy Wigan in the final, considering their finals record against Wigan.

I think you might pick Leeds after that performance.

he doesn't agree with it as you rightly said, he very much avoids been drawn for comments about it, and went only as far to say upon the subject, it will be left for others to decide.
