If people have free income to buy presents for players, may I suggest they take an alternative approach and put a few quid a month into Squadbuilder and help to maintain the success of the club?

How about we all chip in and buy some 'escorts' for the players? After all the boys have achieved this season who could begrudge them a bit of female attention?



We could combine it with Ghost Rider's beers idea, if we win on Grand Final night, have the crates of beers brought into the dressing room by some escorts wearing nothing but primrose and blue thongs and a smile, the players can have a post match rub down to make sure their muscles are nice and relaxed and all their stiffness is massaged out of them.

I'm sure Coach House or another local brewery (definitely 4T's) will have a brew in the team's name ready to go if we win the final. The club can have a few free casks of that, so that the players and staff don't have to poison themselves with tinned filth.



Thwaites had "Lancashire Reign" out within two days of Lancs winning the elusive County Championship (which still feels unbelievably good eight days on!!), so I'm sure the same will be done by a local brewer for Wires. If we win the Grand Final it'll have one name, if we lose it, it'll just be call League Leaders' Brew or something.
