Wow, didn't realise you Wire fans were so bitter.

We've probably never had a better team than this, add to that the stadium & off field success, throw in the junior set up and the world is well.



The only reason your lot got a mention on here was because that daft bugger Parish seemed to think we take your players, when as shown you take far more of ours. Other than that, apart from home & away meetings, our paths are very unlikely to cross.

Well, point being, if you ever get a competitive side, you could meet us in a playoff, I know that's unlikely any time soon.

For some reason I'm fond of Salford. It certainly isn't anything to do with the fans on here, who all seem to be angry little nobbers.



Having said that, I think the future should be bright for the club and I hope they manage to put a competitive side together for the new stadium. If they do, and they get the marketing right, Salford could be a big club and I'd welcome that.

But is there a 'casual' interest lying dormant in deepest, darkest Salford, all ready to come bursting to life when the new stadium is ready and the team is assembled, in the same way there was in Warrington, when we were preparing to leave Wilderspool?



Yes, we were once in that same place that Salford currently are, but we always were fortunate that we were a rugby town, with people ready to jump on the bandwagon of a successful side.....I don't see Salford in a similar vein. They are a football town, with a culturally mixed population, which doesn't aid their Rugby club's ambitions.

Salford have been Rugby League Champions twice since Warrington last won the title. In fact, in terms of all-time titles, Salford have won twice as many as Warrington. Giving them a little bit of respect, no matter their current situation, would be nice. This petty sniping is a bit pathetic, and really doesn't reflect well on Wire fans.
