Agree that silverwood had a shocker (what a surprise) but I must say I think the shockers went both ways......lol......he's consistent if nothing else!

am I the ony person who thinks that Silverwood actually penalised Mozza for playing the ball when he wasn't tackled?



If you watch the incident Moz gets thrown over but isn't actually tackled so maybe the referee got it right, although it was very harsh to penalise him for that.

Silverwood clearly shouted "wrong mark" meaning he penalised moz for playing the ball from a place other than where he was tackled.

Honestly think that there are no good refs anywhere....If there is one,please let us know...

It doesn't matter whether it was the wrong mark or not tackled or whatever else - at that stage Silverwood was desperate to give them a penalty and he found a way.



The bloke is an absolute abomination of a referee, who like Ganson visibly takes pleasure from awarding an incorrect decision and does so often. I've heard loads of people praising Ganson on here too - look again at that first video ref decision and tell me he isn't an incompetent St Helens nice person.

There's an even longer list of mistakes he made that went against Wire. Just accept defeat for once: it wasn't the ref's fault, it was Bradford's.

I'll let you into a secret. It wasn't where the pens, but when. Why did we have the ga e stopped with a player behind play whilst not suffering from ahead injury?

Because Bradford conceded a penalty.

Seemed to pick both. But if he wasn't tackled he cant play at the wrong place, and if he was tackled and played it from the wrong place then why did he say play on.

Just watched the match on i player. Still baffled @ the penalty against Mozza. He was tackled & thrown down, got up immediately to play the ball which he did correctly. No doubt if Mozza had asked Silverwood where he should play the ball from he would have been penalised for that!



Davies on commentary said "that's a big call", for me I agree with the other posters in that Silverwood was looking for a reason to give a penalty

Both Moz and two bradford markers, considered him to be tackled, as they all were ready for a play the ball. That was the single worst decision of the game.
