Saints fans said he was overrated when he came to us, they were wrong. Gleeson hasn't found his footing with Wigan yet, probably because, as has already been mentioned, he doesn't have a decent 6 to feed him the ball like he had at Saints and with us.



In the 3 Wigan games I've watched since he signed for you, I've barely even remembered he plays for Wigan, which isn't something you want from an "attacking" centre like Gleese.



He's not overrated, he's just not playing well

Hes doing really well IMO, its refreshing to have 2 centres who can do something after the cack we have put up with in the past, hes settling in well and like ive already said it seems to be a move that has benefited both clubs (if you look at forms since the move)



I just find it ridiculous that after however many years he was at Wire for, he did a good job for you, stars for GB but now he plays for wigan he is over rated.

this just sounds like sour grapes to me Gleeson haad his days and his off days like most sl players lets be gratefull we sold when we did otherwise we could still have a player who is not bothered and lossing value in the transfer market

No they didnt. Gleeson always had a section of the Saints fans who didnt like him when he was at Saints. Many thought he was greedy. These people didnt just change their minds when he went to Warrington, its a complete myth.
