Why are people being so pedantic and complaining that Silverwood is refereeing the match?



He's one of the two best Referee's in the competition, and as someone mentioned officiated our QF, Semi and Final last season.



Can't see the match coming down to him at all.

disagree hes bobbins..hope he does prove me wrong and hes fair to both teams but i doubt it..ever noticed how he leans to one side thats cos hes bias

I go off my most recent memory, he was a disgrace against Saints. I'm living in the hope it was just a bad at the office.

Was it v Bradford where Morley got rolled about 5 yards in a tackle and he game a penalty for playing the ball from the wrong place?

Yes it was. I was watching the game in a little quiet French pub and nearly got ejected at that point!

No. I rememebr a few big mistakes in that. The most obvioius being Rilkey being taken out in the air. He was down for ages and spud waved it away. Think sts might have scored off it. There was his usual penalty missing for wire and an obvious graham knock on an front of him. In fact graham was very petulent in that match.

I think it says it all when over on the pie board everyone of them is pleased with Silverspud. Someone even saying they hope he refs it like the Aus/Nzl match, which basically means letting all the lying on go unpenalized. Another saying how hes a good choice because he will let the game flow with few penalties, again meaning he will allow their slowing down tactics. God help us

Also you do realise that when Warrington tackle they dont get up after 5 seconds to allow their opposition a quick play the ball? Dont get sucked into Agars and Kears rubbish about Wigan being the only team that slows it down! All the top 4 do and do it well thats why they are winning more games than anyone else!

Kills us everytime he refs. Won about 4 out of the last 17 in which he's reffed us. Massive tool.

His mistakes are too numerous for anyone highlighting them to be referred to as a pedant.
