i couldn't make the game...how did ormsby go?

He played well and scored off a 2nd kick.

Got left in no mans land by Atkins a couple of times and one of which resulted in a try to Salford.

it appears that the decision to move Riley aside and blood a young promising winger has been a good one.



its a good job Tony Smith reads the internet.

Ormsby missed a golden chance just before the half, knocked on with the line beckoning.

Too bad Atkins has got something on Smith.

He must have caught him in women's underwear or something.

Happy with the win but just feel we still lacking ideas near the line.Tried the run around most the night but it never really worked.

its an easy one to understand to be fair.. 2 seasons ago atkins was the best in the league.. i think Smith is trying to play him back into form... im not sure how long the period of grace can last though.



everyone knows he has been poor and his confidence is shot... if he can get that confidence back we have an outstanding again.

That's not going to happen while he's the fans' official scapegoat.

im fairly sure the coaching staff don't pin up our posts before games in the changing room.

Solid performance, no real stand out players but everyone played as a team, the hb combo's are getting quicker and smoother and the crowd were rocking.



All in all happy with that.

what was the crowd like?



the good doctor must be having twitchy trigger finger thoughts already about the salford revolution.



lots of money spent, low attendances, poor results.... he doesn't seem to be the patient type.

You are joking. Aren't you? There's such a wealth of knowledge and experience on here they'd be daft not to. Perhaps that where they've gone wrong, not listening to us.



Seriously though, fans are starting get on his back at games. It's got worse since Riley stopped getting picked and went out on loan.

The crowd was 6,100, a very decent turnout form Warrington, perhaps 2,800 in P&B.



They have a good set up at Salford, Live free music in the bar before the game, plenty of Food outlets selling well known brands of Pies etc. I think the Doctor is doing a good job, he must realise that patience is needed it took us 2 years under TS to turn things round & Tony inherited a lot of good players. If the Doc sticks with Salford then in 2 or 3 years his investment will pay dividends.

Salford fans were quiet, Wire fans were rocking, more so in the 2nd half. The Wigan walk in full flow with 15 mins to go
