tbf to Child, EVERY ref gives me cause for concern, Teesside
The Video Ref is a great thing in sport, but, it's being used at the drop of a hat, and most of the time (especially in the last couple of years), it's being used for obstruction, when there's nothing there. If it's blatant, it SHOULD be evident to every one in the ground, and it's disallowed on the spot. Some of these "obstruction" calls are so minimal, it's untrue. FFS, we have a contact sport and it's never going to be crystal clear, but let the game flow. There isn't that much obstruction that goes on in our game, but the refs (when Sky are in town) get obsessional with it.
On tonight's games
Wigan.
The race for LLS (and then, our potential play-off opponents) is wide open now. Keep your noses clean, Wire, and it's not beyond us. After Wigan's "moral victory" (Wane's words), he fat bottom must be twitching a bit.
Stains.
Can I humbly request all Wire fans keep any potential phone calls to the Samaritans to a bear minimum, what ever their personal problems. There's a certain Warrington based Stains fan, who has just found a 48 pack of paracetamol, a shot gun, several razor blades, and Centrica has just reconnected his gas supply to his oven.
Nathan Brown used to own the shot gun and has used it himself. Pity it was on the Centrica gas man. He tried to do himself in, but missed.
