| Quote Saddened!="Saddened!"Hodgson in terms of quality, but I wouldn't us to actually sign him as he's too old.
Ryan Atkins because we're light on centres. We have had a vacant centre spot since Wild Bill Talau left so any SL centre would be nice.
Monaghan is probably the player you lot rave over most but as with Hodgson I wouldn't want us to actually sign him despite how good he is. James Roby is a machine and 80 minutes is just a warm up for him. He's been utterly sensational this season so far for us and I wouldn't swap him for anyone in the world, even Cam Smith as Roby is so central to how we play and is our best player by a truly enormous distance.
Morley is another quality player I wouldn't want us to sign because of his age.
I would take Ben Westwood off your hands and slot him in on our bench which is currently very weak and I would also take Ben Harrison off you as I rate him very highly. I think he could be the next James Graham and I hope he fulfils that potential at prop rather than pretending to be a backrower. A move to Saints would do him good.
I've not seen enough of the Welsh boys or this Williams kids to comment on them.'"
this is a wind up right ben westwood to be a bench player

No. We've got a backrow of Soliola, Laffranchi and Puletua next season. (Laffranchi and Puletua will play prop too no doubt). Westwood would be used to provide some impact from the bench, which is something we're massively lacking as our bench usually resembles four sparrows sat on a garden fence and carries that much impact.

Soliola over Westwood, crikey.
I don't think Westwood could be less of an impact player if he tried. Just bizarre stuff.

I didn't mean a Fat Feka type 5 minutes a half type player I meant to be rotated and ensure there is no drop off. In reality it wouldn't particularly matter who was on the bench and who started.
Soliola is playing very well for us this season so far.

Aye, he's been immense has Soliola, unplayable at times.
Saints don't look the same team to me when he's not playing, it's like when we're missing Tyrone McCarthy.

| Every time I log onto the forum with this thread popping up my eye catches the word "killed" and I fear the worst, either a player has been killed or one of those Wire fans in Afghanistan. Slightly too emotive a word for comfort in a thread title.

Hear the Aussie commentators going on about Gallen being the best front row forward in NSW even though he plays 13? Their argument being that a 13 is now an extra prop.

| Does anyone have any information as to Warrington's actual involvement in all this?
The only thing Tony Puletua himself said was that he would stay at Saints if he could sort out some issues back home. Where do the papers and so, so many Warrington fans on here get the information that he'd agreed to join Warrington from? Several on here were 100% convinced of it.

Exactly
Rumours only
Some Stains fans (from what I remember) wanted us reporting to the RFL, for the definate "tapping up" of Stains' player
