It was the Challenge Cup game against Wigan. WY police forced Leeds to limit the attdendance as Yorskhire was scheduled to play. Admit the fact that its England might make a difference but wasnt the Yorkshire game scheduled to be against Lancashire. Roses game would probably attract a bigger crowd.



Im still banking on us playing Friday.

I think the convention (remember this is just a landlord/tenant agreement, nothing to do with Sl or premiserhsip rules) are that Warriors can only play 2 days before Wigan Athletic (to give the pitch time to recover). Its been mentioned before that a Thursday night game would be Ok before a Saturday match so I think they are taking calender days rather than strict chronological time.

If Leeds beat Hull they will be away to Wigan!!!!! (1 v 4) If Leeds finish 5th then there could be fun and games as i believe leeds united are at home on the Saturday BUT I still think Sky want a top 4 game for Friday night and if it cant be Wigan........

It's confirmed on the website now that our game will be on either the Friday or the Saturday depending on the Hull/Leeds result this weekend.



It doesn't actually say what the outcome will be though (ie, who needs to win for us to play on the Friday) so no doubt we'll still be frustratedly twiddling our thumbs waiting for confimation once that game has taken place.

If Leeds win they are away to Wigan and therefore on the Sunday. And me. Although Hull have only lost twice at home all year (against us and Wigan) however it'll be interesting to see how Leeds react to their loss on Saturday. Should be a good game that should.

Yes, I also think Leeds will prove better opposistion against Wigan than Hull FC will.
