Atkins is moving back to yorkshire but for which club ?

I was told this story on Saturday but the person who told me didn't seem to think that Warrington would sign him.



Could he be going to Salford?



I was told that he wants to come back because his wife wants to work here but she had a baby only a couple of weeks ago so it all seems a little unlikely.



Another thought on the subject - When he gave one of his final interviews, he said that he might come back one day in a coaching capacity, when his playing career was over, if Tony Smith had any room for him.



He has been involved in coaching our younger players, too. He was always willing to turn up and lend a hand.



I guess time will tell.

Can't see it somehow. I'm sure he'd do a great job us for even with a duvet around his arm a la Nick Fozzard and Mark Hilton.

I dare say he'd do a fine job for us, MKC, but surely it's time for Rhys Evans to step up to the mark, now.

The only trouble being Evans would get injured appearing on A Question Of Sport

Could be worse, Paul Prescott would get injured opening the email invite!

It was Bradford after Hull, and a couple of knee surgeries. Toa had lost that devastating burst when he returned.

We need to get some top scientists onto building Rhys a new foot. He seems to be permanently crocked. Sorry to lower the tone by mentioning the *other* code, but Rhys reminds me of Dave Strettle (who was in the Wire academy), he made a brilliant debut, had blistering pace and footwork but recurrent foot injuries have blighted his career and left him half the player he was. Let's hope Rhys can get it sorted because he has all the talent to be an absolute great.

I'll stand corrected but I don't remember David Strettle ever being at our academy? I played RU with him at school and don't remember that.

I may be misremembering - a quick google search says Warrington was his youth side and that he was playing RL till he started at Lymm before his footie trials.

He played at Lymm Ru with him being a Lymm lad. Used to see him most Saturdays up Lymm. Him playing first and me playing for the vets
