I'm not 100% on this but I'm pretty sure they shut the barriers on that car park at some point. Don't know when sorry. There's a thread on the Saints board about parking if you want some help.

The ground is a ten minute walk from the town centre with various pubs there. If you like real ale then I can recommend The Phoenix pub which is up the road going towards Pilks i.e. the road going away from the town centre from where Cineworld is.
The picture on this link shows the pub looking back towards the junction where Cineworld is (it's about 100m from that junction).

I've heard good things about this place on a match day! Does it still have that sign up about being named pub of the year 2004 or something?!
A popular pub seems to be the Glasshouse, but I assume that's because it's very close to the bridge. Although the service in that place is a joke! |

The Glasshouse is a Weatherspoons and they run with skeleton crews at the best of the times. The Turk's Head is the other really good real ale pub in the town centre but that's a bit further away from the ground than The Phoenix. The Phoenix is usually pretty easy to get served even with a decent crowd in. |

Probably because of Wembley & Times of Austerity.
Seem to remember we didn't take that many to the Wigan away game in 2009 as it was between the semi final and Wembley |
