Same here, I grow weary of Sunday games. I'm not a fan of Thursday games either, but if I had to make a choice between the two, I'd go for Thursdays.

I was up at half six this morning is I have just been sat about watching the clock waiting till it is time to get the bus at 1130. It just feels like the morning has gone to waste. Afterwards there will be time for one drink then it's back home to get ready for work the next day. I love Saturday late afternoon games, but they are a rare breed these days.

I don't have any pre-match ritual before the game, I just go and meet people in the ground. I prefer games under the floodlights, plus if it's a Thursday/Friday night, then you have the rest of the weekend to chill out.

The only reason Thursday, Friday games are the best atmosphere are because they are the games against Wigan, St Helens, Leeds etc....This afternoon will be a good atmosphere if it's as close as I expect it to be and the Wire fans don't spend the whole time moaning about Atkins, not having Briers, Myler not being up to it, the moon not being made of cheese and the lack of advertising for the match around town.

There are probably better odds of Carvell scoring a hat trick against us than there is of all the above happening.

Carell isn't playing so I'd love to see those odds.

well yesterday was e atmosphere and was a close game so just proves thurs,fri, and sat are better days. love how an away support wt wasnt even that big still was louder than us when we was 18-6 up. the biggest cheer from the home crowd was when the ref penalised them for holding down.

Generally the atmosphere at any Warrington game is rubbish and has been for a while. Gone are the days of coming up with great chants for different players, ones like the "have a drink, a drink, a drink...." Alfie Langer song. Or even singing older Warrington songs like "god bless my home, I come from Warrington...." and "oh me lads...". We only seem to know two chants anymore: "oooohhhh Warry Warry..." or "*drum banging* Wires!". Imaginative





And Thursday/Friday night games are not parent-friendly.
