I wonder how this works with the salary cap? I thought players registered part year have the salary counted for the full year. Perhaps Saints, despite Chief Executive etc stating different have not been spending the full cap?

I'd take the words of Frank Cannon (Shaun McCrea sp) with a huge pinch of salt.

He'd be better of dealing with Salford's many problems, rather than talking about Warrington's inability to beat a team he coached over a decade ago.

But he's not been picked. Strange thing, unless we are getting to the stage where we wouldn't have 17 fit players. I know a lot of the kids regarded as squad players are injured.

Im not surprised as he wont play for anyone equal to or better than saints for rest of his career so he might aswell attempt win some silverware before he leaves as its all downhill after this season for him
