Sad finish to Cooper's Warrington career. He's always given 100% in the P&B, and he's earned my respect and I wish him all the best. I guess we'll not get to know the complete story, but it will be best all round for him to move on.

Don't know the ins and outs of all this but if true what a sad end to a really good Warrington career. From the outside looking in he always gave 100% and with Hilly was the mainstay of the pack for a good number of years. All the best Mike for the future and thanks for your efforts.

What i can't understand is that players were , & as far as i know still are, encouraged to find themselves careers for when their playing days are over.

On the other hand players involved should still be prepared to accommodate whatever is necessary to keep the club management happy.

If this turns out to be true then that will be a sad end to his wire career. He's been excellent for us, a rare real success story of the Warrington academy. I wish him well and hope the last few years of his career are a success.

I don't want to sound bitter at all, but when you and others are wishing him well and hoping for success, I'm with all the way with it but limited to his clothing business and health. I've mixed feelings on the rugby honours front unless he's playing against Saints I hope he/Wigan do nowt

Not bothered tbh. I won't waste time or thought on people who don't want to be around the club anymore, whoever they may be or where they were born.



He's now part of the past, bring on the future.

This is my take. He's a professional sportsman. He owes us nothing and life goes on.

He's given us 100% and I applaud that..pity some haven't.but I do hope we makes his life hell when we meet..here's a thought if he scores against us will he celebrate like mad or walk away quietly

Refused to play apparantley.

I'm a massive Cooper fan, but if that's true I can't look back on his time with us fondly. Unacceptable for any professional sportsman,........regardless of being a hometown lad or not.

Powell wanted him to play last week, he refused, club put him down as having covid.
