I would like to see George King picked again. When he played we have not lost.

TS is placing a lot of faith in Livett considering it's his first season in SL and he's not really a half.

He's been caught out a few times when he's played - expected given his experience.



Gidley not in halves due to his ear drum issue and potential to get clouted?



It'll be another tough day at the office tonight I fear.

I don`t recall two Warringtonians playing as the halfback combination for Wire, in all the time that I have been a fan.



For the statisticians on this board, when was the last time that this happened?

Hulse and Durbin, but they might have been Widnesians, or at least one of them.

Jamie Durbin was definitely from Widnes, I used to work with his next door neighbour.

Well youth is definitely being given a chance this season. I suspect we may see Gidley playing more of a half back role when we are in attack and dropping back when we are defending. Got to agree with Uncle Rico on the idea of Russell as full back...I'm suffering conniptions at the thought!

Dwyer also starting 9 so don't think Clark will be playing. Potentially have Morgan Smith as interchange hooker.

Don't you just love our coach selecting players out of position. If he goes with Livett and Smith in key pivot positions tonight we are likely to get absolutely murdered.



But our mighty leader will again escape criticism as he has a ready made excuse.

Personally if I was coach, I'd pick Gidley as full back as we can't leave Russell there. I'd pick Gidley at half back as we can't have two youngsters there. I'd pick Gidley at hooker as we can't trust Dwyer.
