I don't own a Wii, and that idea doesn't let you record, does it, unless I'm missing something. I could watch it on PS3 though. Just a shame I can't record it!

Couple of solutions for you all.





SKY+. No BBC I player. so if you didn't . record on your hard drive. Thats it UNLESS...



Virgin Media. If it is there this morning. The BBC I player will be able too record onto cd or video.



Nintendo Wii and PS3. If it is on the i player. switch the leads over too your scart and record from there.

In your sky box settings you can set the box to start recording upto 10 mins before the start of a cheduled programme and to end upto 10 mins after the programme is scheduled to finish. Its in the options or settings tab along the top.



Ive just checked mine, its fine and fits the full programme in from start to finish.



Obviously i don't have the red button interviews with being at the game.

How can you record the PS3? Seems like the only option since it's not available on the TV iPlayer but it is online. Strange.

The iPlayer version has up until Mozza gives his son(?) back after they lifted the cup then it goes onto the Red Button from there.

I bought a sony dvd recorder with freeview and a hard drive (about £200)



I recorded the final and I can watch game from hard drive or copy to dvd and watch elsewhere



don't have sky so not sure if it'll copy from there.

I got a Sagem Freeview+ 500GB Box on friday for £150 from ASDA. I was so frustrated at getting back last year and not being able to watch the match. Wife went mad, but I set up with no fuss and it recorded the the game, the whole program perfectly. It even has a facility for you to export the file, but having problems, as it will only allow you to export 4GB max. So I will have to figure out how to split it. Let me now if you want it, and I will sort it out.

We can watch iPlayer on the PS3 through the telly. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to record that and how I do it? We've also got a DVD recorder but stupidly recorded 2hrs+ of BBC2 on saturday instead of BBC1

The best way to record from the iplayer if you have a dvd recorder is to do the following, set your dvd recorder to the same channel that your TV is outputting on. As an example, put the iplayer screen on via your PS3 as you normally would then turn on your dvd recorder and go through your video channels like AV1, AV2 and AV3 etc until ythe iplayer screen comes up. On some recorders you may have to manually tune it in.



Then you can record anything thats appearing on the screen of your dvd recorder to either your hard drive on your dvd recorder or direct onto a disc, it just depends what type of dvd recorder you have as some have hard drives as well which is handy to have so you can edit out the before and after stuff like adverts or a previous programme that was on before the game came on.
