I wish to revise my original post and say you are looking at a six minute walk. But factor in the impact of;



Pedestrian traffic, road traffic, lack of local knowledge, influence of alcohol, walking speed, queues.



My personal advice would be to allow for 10-15 minutes in order to enjoy the various sights en route to the stadium and plenty of time.

I am liking the Albion before the game even if it isn't next to the ground. Worth the detour.

don't know if you know the town centre but they have opened a new weatherspoons where yates' wine lodge used to be. Unless you want to be within crawling distance then it's lord rodney or the red lion nearer to the train station is the kings head and railway club
