I won a VIP trip to watch Warrington Town in the FA Vase final at Wembley which included a meal, tour round wembley, the dressing room, on the pitch before watching the game from the royal box. Pity our coach left before we got in it after the game due to us fighting with West Ham on the Wembley forecourt.



I also won the face in the crowd competition a few years back and won a photo of Wolfie

I once entered the Engage competition to win tickets for 2 to the Perpignan game inc flights and hotel. Just like you Slim I forgot I had entered it til they phoned me and told me I had won.

I met John Barnes after winning a competition in the John Barnes fan club in 1991. He gave me some cool stuff which I ruined, as you do when you're a kid, a signed team photo, his training jacket stuff like that. He seemed to like it that I re-inacted his goal from the Maracana in '84 for him, complete with actual TV commentary.

I once won passes for an exclusive Julian Lennon sort of press promo gig in that London tahhn. Being young and massively, massively obsessed with John Lennon at the time, I was over the moon and practically out of the door when my fascist dictator parentals reminded me I was to sit my mock GCSEs the day after and promptly withheld said passes. Cue an almighty teenage strop.
