I rarely post nowadays, but watching Widdop, presently I'm not sure he's much better than Patton. Thoughts

Bit early to be judging him really... but so far, from what we have seen... he offeres absolutely nothing.

I don't think he did for GB either...



Confidence within the team is low now.

Rubbish so far but he's only played a couple of games, needs more time and a run under a different coach who actually does know what sort of team he has got.

at the moment...he is stealing a wage. Much room for improvement....hope he can get back to what he was back in Aus. Can't do much behind a beaten pack though.

Just a glimmer would give us some hope...but there's not even that...sling him Widnes and send a few others there and bring Patton back

I’d have Patton and Livett back. What’s missing was heart and we taken town blood out of our team.

Posters took the p out of Patton for banging the bin...but that demonstrates his passion for our town.

Every time I’ve watched Widdop I’ve looked at him and thought he looks like a fullback playing at stand off. He then played fullback in the England World Cup team in 2017 and I thought he was just about our best player. The problem for you guys is that you already have that player in your squad in Ratchford.

Well nicky a good, strong coach would put widdop at 1 and ratchford at 6 but unfortunately we don't have one. A good, strong coach would also send Austin to widnes for a week or two and test how much he wants to be a professional rugby player. Im sick of p**s poor management..dont take the money if you cant make the tough calls.

Spot on. I mean playing Austin at Wembley when he clearly wasn’t fit most likely cost us the cup and gifted Saints the treble

If Austin had been 50% fit he'd have played and cost us that game. Enforced changes give coaches clues, rubbish coaches don't pick up on them.

I've never seen much in him tbh and I was very surprised Wire bought him. Should have gone to Jewsons, a plank has more rugby ability.
