After the sacking of Ian Millward (about time) and now the busy easter schedule is out of the way, it seems Cas have enquired about a few of your players joining on loan. As temporary coach apparently Danny Orr wants to bring back Gareth O'Brien as he doesn't seem to stand a chance of getting a game, particularly when Briers returns. Other names have been Chris Bridge and Rhys Williams, though wing isn't really where we are in most need!

From what I hear, Bridge would come for a month to get some fitness back (he would still be twice as fit as our shower of wasters).

O'Brien would join for the rest of the year, POSSIBLY as part of a deal that takes Daryl Clark to Warrington next season.

Keep Williams, in fact if you want, i finish work in 15 minutes, i'll drive up from London, i'll go to his house, pack his stuff, go to the HJ empty his locker, drive him to Cas and pay his rent, then drive back.



I'll also do overtime and pay towards his wages if it helps.

Really, I thought he looked okay when he played with us for a few games. However, we probably have very different standards!

He is ok, hence Tony Smith seeing fit to give him a 2 year deal, but he just seems to be one of the scapegoats with some of our fans unfortunately

This has been burning away at me. Why don't Cas ask for The Lord Tony Smith for the rest of the regular season as well? We only need him for the play offs.

I personally don't think we're in a position to loan ANYONE out (oh go on then, sorry Williams) given the injury situation and loss of form and confidence amongst some of the squad.



Even when Briers is back he'll be getting rested plenty, I hope, so we need as many troops as possible.

Well with the way Riley defended last week he's probably ahead in those stakes.

I respect you as a poster and i respect the role you have in rugby but Walter you're the only one who defends him, there are reasoned posters on here, sensible people and people who defend the team and all the players in it, not one of those posters think he cuts the mustard.



Williams is woeful, every team we play target him as the weak link, he could have Mal Meninga as his centre and he couldn't make him look good.



Believe me i don't say it lightly, he's the only player i genuinely go 'oh god no' when i see him on the team sheet.

But on the other hand Rhys Williams is Wales 's all time top try scorer in a team that are not known for doing much scoring of any kind against international opposition.

Yes but all his tries have come against Scotland, Ireland, France and Serbia. It's a surprising stat that he's their all-time top try scorer, but it's hardly evidence that he is good enough for a supposed top-rank SL team.
