Plan to take the missus to a nice restaurant anywhere in the town to celebrate an anniversary. She want to go to an Italian restaurant, but I'm hopeless with this sort of thing and couldn't tell the difference penne pasta or manicotti pasta.



Basically, what places in Warrington would you guys recommend? (And you can get Dominoes, Pizza Hut etc out of your systems!)

I can personally recommend the Thai Paragon in Culcheth ! Extremely nice , it's on the internet if u want to check it out !

Delgados in Penketh and Caffe Caruso are also very good.

Piccolinos for me. There's not a better restaurant in Warrington IMO

Whilst the Thai Paragon is indeed a very nice restaurant, their choices of italian dishes are extemely limited.

If you really want to treat her and don't mind going out of Warrington, try Guy's Thatched hamlet in garstang, absolutley superb Italian, pub, accomodation and setting on the Lancaster canal, i have been going there since 1990.

As said by some others Donatellos is ok.service a bit slow though.if you fancy anything other than italian the Grill on the Square is another nice place.or push the boat out and try the Horseshoe in croft.

There are many better restaurants than Piccolinos in Warrington. Which is certainly saying something.



Italian with a twist, try the White Apron on Church Street.
