What about Evans ? Excellent tackling stint, looked dangerous, and never gave up on that kick through. He looked the part for me tonight.



But, I am afraid that was a very poor game by Riley. He has always looked suspect in his tackling (for me) and nearly all the Cats attacks were down his wing.

Think your being harsh on Riley took a lot of pressure off our forwards

you think riley has always looked suspect in his tackling....so when our opponents score on that side its his fault..get a grip...top of the league and your moaning at our players

I have to agree that Riley did not have his best game defensively, but he did take the ball up well out of defence.

I don't think he'll be raving about his own performance though.

Gritty performance from the lads even without our usual playmaker against a very physical team who tonight imo played dirty tactics.The 1 stand out moment being Benny's decking of Mr Webb.Worth the Sky subscription alone.

I don't think it's fair to pick out just Riley. I wouldn't say the majority of our team had glittering performances tonight. Riley came in on a few occasions to cover Atkins and obviously left a gap, multiple people at fault there. On the plus side, although not convincing, we ground out a win against a very strong catalan team without Briers.

Morley?? Any ideas why he only played for a few minutes?

Sorry for splitting hairs here but Leeds are top. Riley does come off his wing and then this leaves the door open at times. However all that said, there aren't many teams who will be able to effectively attack us on that side with the power of Catalans. Lets be happy. Oh Warry, Warry

Catalan signed Elima & Webb pre-season ... I think they get what they deserve. They have to be two of the most annoying players ever.

I think Catalans are fast becoming the new Huddersfield. Lying on in the tackle all the time, nasty digs here and there, slowing the game down.
