I'll be honest, I'm disappointed with that. I thought he was exactly what we needed, good mix of size & mobility with a good pair of hands. I think he's one of the top forwards in SL at present, I'm sure we made him a good offer, one thing you know with us as a club where transfers are concerned, we won't die wondering.
I'm sure Tony will have other irons in the fire.

It's a decent pack. But relative to previous Saints packs it is not the same strength as their pack used to be with Cunningham and Graham in it and then guys like Cayless and Fozzard. I think Saints will always be able to attract a strong-ish squad of players but the real game breakers are not present any more. I still think they will be in the hunt for trophies, but more on a Warrington level, than being a Saints level. |
