Think it was Leeds away where our lack of pace was painfully exposed, despite a reasonable performance. Hopefully we can give them a decent game now we have made a few changes to the squad. Should be a decent crowd as well.

Sinfield being out is a massive plus for us, just hope Locke is fit, but if he isn't evalds would do a job.

It's only a five day turn around for us though and Leeds have had an extra 3 days to recover and prepare. That's a massive advantage for them.

I think Josh Griffin and Matty Ashurst are in trouble though for their part in the brawl on Sunday? Both have been going great for us recently and any ban would be a big loss to us

Early guilty pleas for them? Ashhurst is only a grade A according to the disciplinary article on the rfl site...though its reported as B. Egp will see them both right.



Tommy Lee is going to be a big miss I think, 2 charges so he's going to get a ban. He's been our only hooker for the past 3 matches, would have been nice to have him rotating with Tomkin's against Leeds...is Tomkin's even fit?

I wondered the same myself, look at getting him back for one game and for him personally what better chance too get himself firmly in the frame the obvious vacancy in the hooking role next season.

It would certainly show how the lad might handle pressure!!

Talent Spotter, it certainly was Leeds away that outlined our lack of pace. Rangi made about 3 clear breaks and got caught by the Leeds scrambling defence whereas with the pace we now have I think a couple would have been converted. On the flip side there were a number of broken field breaks by Leeds I feel would have been stopped with todays team. It just shows how far we've come since then.

As an aside I thought it was the Leeds game I saw improvements in the teams structure an plays.

With lee missing on Friday and if say tomkins is injured who will play hooker could they play fages there with evalds at 7 and locke fb (if fit)
