Isnt this likley to be a stadium policy rather than a club policy?

I don't think it is any policy other than another example of p*ss poor communication from the stadium management company. It it was policy it would have been happening everywhere. I walked past one stewards frisking people at the south west turnstiles and walked in unsearched at the south east turnstiles. It appears that someone is not giving proper instruction to staff.

I wasn't frisked. I'm pretty sure its illegal for a guy to frisked a women without consent. We need a legal eagle. Now if we were sale we'd have loads of lawyers on here. But saying that I bet they don't frisked sale fans when they come!

Frisking loads of away fans, might put afew off thats for sure. First ground in RL ive ever seen it, pretty pointless aswell- not like were hated rivals or anything to even justify it.

i was frisked at Wembley by a women when I questioned it they said they could do what they wanted because it is wembley. But walked straight in yesterday no problem, but my mate RJ was frisked, must have been the long hair 70's terrorist look.

rang the stadium company 4 hours ago to complain they were unaware of this going on we will get back to you guess wot staill waiting

i dont mind being frisked for a gig but doesnt really go with rugby

i walked in yesterday with a can of coke and nobody said or did anything to me. Certainly seems very strange why only some and not others. perhaps KR's persona went before them?



Saying that, a friend of mine was not allowed to have a pram near the seats with her kid in or leave on the concourse in front of the stands and was told to either leave OR she could have the pram in the south stand and hold it on the steps!!



i dont believe she was the only one either as a few people yesterday i saw being pointed about with buggy's and prams.



Quite a bad image given of the club by the stadium company this being that Salford are trying to push famalies but this sort of thing happening to deter famalies coming back!

Please look on the Wakey/Cas boards for Good Friday issues. many wish there had ben more frisking there.

As some will have already seen... I have already put this on the clubs Facebook page. To say I'm furious with this is an understatement.



I was frisked and told it was in case there was knife.... I was informed on complaining that this was due to somebody being caught with a bottle of vodka at the last home game... Well in my opinion... whoever brought the bottle in... got caught by the stewards in the stadium due to the fact that this is what they are there to do... not be there to frisk people.



I believe the club are taking this forward... and I hope they get back to me with this.



If this happens again... I will stop attending home games until this is removed. I have offered to go to the ground before the next home game and address the stewards as to exactly what is deemed as appropriate to the rugby league supporter.

Am I missing something? People are complaining that the Club / Stadium are actually getting something right?



Frisking is a big part of any business whether it be a Sporting Company or the Wholesale Business. They can frisk you and if you refuse they can rightly refuse you entry to the ground. It is all about H&S, whether it be to prevent missiles or weapons being taken in or just to stop the illegal consumption of alcohol. It should be seen as a good thing by everyone, only those that have something to hide need be worried. By the letter of the law it has to be done by the same gender and there needs to be another member present when it happens to act as a witness.



Lets concentrate on the Rugby rather than pick on silly little things like this. Just because something is new doesn't mean that it is wrong.
