Perversely it may be quite popular , it's certainly polarising opinion , I'll reserve judgement until I've seen it in the flesh so to speak , If Heineken were our sponsors I'd understand!
Obviously Canberra is the most famous team with a green top, but I remember Bradford doing a Green Away kit afew seasons ago , also Widnes won a world Club Challenge sporting green,
Huddersfield's is truely bizzare, especially those questionable white blotches

Jez,thats brill Middleman,when i played for Salford schoolboys many years ago i`m sure we played in green,is it true you guys at grammar played union? I only ask because one off the grammer school lads came and played League with us. |

Hopefully the players will still be able to see each other, and it doesn't end up like United's grey kit did. Although they did win the league that season didn't they.

we've signed buses to play?
De La Salle (red blazers ... I wore them long enough) played union. Even kicking a football was frowned on until the late 60's. |

Pendleton 6th Form played yawnian, so i went from rugby league at Clarendon to a place where you could be kicked off a course for even thinking Rugby league, we weren't even allowed to play a charity game of league on the college pitch. and that was late 70's.

Erm...against who??
They beat Canberra (who were wearing green) at Old Trafford. I remember it well as I was there and it being one of the best games I can recall. So many top top players on show, on both sides. |

Couple of things.
In the flesh so to speak the shirt is even more vile than I thought!.
And honestly could someone not have thought hold on a light green shirt on a light green playing surface isn't going to be the most visable, can see SKY not wanting us playing in that if we are in a situation where we need too as would thnk on TV it won't show up too well.
