| Just wish Tommy Lee would quit the big shoulder hits then letting player bounce off this or the offload, rather Howarth-esque

If Gavet has 100% fully recovered he'd be a good buy, remember seeing him play a couple of times and thought he looked a decent prospect.'"
Intriguing wording in that article. Former Wests forward, granted permission to 'seek opportunities elsewhere.' With Sheens snapping-up former Wests talent like it's going out of fashion, I wonder if this could be another one on his way?

questionable, Mick Potter was in charge when Gavet was signed to Wests Tigers + the guy has had more clubs than Tiger Woods and such a chequered past he could qualify as a chess master .

Wayne Bennett thought he could use him, but he copped a three week ban in the opening rounds for a shoulder charge , then ruptured is Knee in training whilst he was banned that's taken 9 months to fix ,
Knowing our luck with post op signings ( Steve Rapira ).
would Sheens take that risk ?

| Tommy Lee is a great shout for captaincy and would probably be most peoples choice I would assume. Only concern is how often he'll be off the pitch due to spelling with Liam Hood, in comparison someone like Josh Griffin is likely to play 80 minutes.
It sounds like the Carney circus is still on-going. Cas hold the upper hand, if they prefer Vidot over BJB then I imagine we'll try shifting him on to Hull FC who have plenty of cap space after selling Joe Westerman to Warrington for £150k.

Just crossed my mind rather than looked to closely.

| Obviously Bennett thought he was still a prospect , and interestingly signed him as their ' enforcer ' and we'll need a pack leader.
Salford's luck with Kiwi's , ' personalities' & post injury signings hasn't been good.
besides, he looks too much like snoop Dog

| Anyone got an idea when we are gonna hear about our next signing or who it will be? We are way behind other teams with recruitment and and this rate with supposed reduced cap and players that have gone, some, glad but are we replacing with quality? I don't know just feel in the dark about whats happening, if weve signed someone let us know we don't have to announce 4! Are we gonna have a team to be in top 8 not challenging for top 8 in it? Rant over. Too many questions and can't get answers, with pre season training starting Nov, we are still recruiting in numbers.

As has been typed on many a thread already, and on other social media outlets, it is Tim Sheens who is deciding on recruitment and nothing will be released until he has finished his business - currently in Australia so be patient.
Being in the dark...I recommend turning a light on
Being a betting man, I'd say firm favourites for Middle 8s again but only my opinion.... for now just chill & enjoy the off season

| Perhaps the signings (if any) are not being publicly announced as negotiations are ongoing. See the discussion on BJB here for an instance.
For years we have prayed for a quieter and more dispassionate ste of messages: please allow this to continue.
We can also list (please do not) "highly thought-of players" who, once they put on the red shirt, displayed standards well below the expectation. From the membership brochure: "The Red Devils will no longer be a club for players who see it as a stop off point to their next move. Every single man who pulls on that red jersey will do it for the right reasons ... 2015 is perhaps living proof that you can pack a team with superstars but if you don't have enough workhorses to dig you out of the occasional hole, then yoou are going to come unstuck ... over all we have tried to construct a team - a squad. Something we perhaps could be accused of not having in 2015." Well that's enough for me: the proof of the words will be in February. I'll wait until then.
