| I do find it funny that because all 12 signings aren't considered "superstars" certain opposition fans are trying to belittle our recruitment as average..... probably the same numpties that would be the first to spout "they must be breaking the cap" if the likes of Walton and Johnson were replaced with Inglis and Slater!
I see a vast improvement on what we've had at the club this season in these signings. Sure, 3 or 4 of them are short-term but bring vast experience and will have a great impact on our promising youngsters. I don't expect us to win anything next year but we certainly won't be anyone's b1tches either! There's far more "oomph" in that forward pack and I think we'll see a more expansive style of play than some might expect from a Noble coached side.
Let's enjoy today and the ride that we're going to embark on but let's not forget where we came from. No-one likes a "Billy Big B0ll0cks" and if we are lucky enough to see a bit of silverware heading our way we celebrate it with a bit of humility and grace.
Roll on 2014!

Sale we have had our run in's in the past....
In terms of recruitment I am not to sure it's the best since to be fair Chase has come from Cas who have hovered just above the spoon area and Tim Smith similar so why they will turn Salford into world beaters is a question only to be answered next season.
However when your chairman was instated I did question if he would fulfil his promises and I hold my hands up he has produced a potential team.... will they produce the goods who knows, but in fairness I wish them well.
I have to say not keen on the new kit or badge since there is no mention of Salford and for me that leads to the progression of a Manchester Red Devils, which would be a disaster....losing a traditional club name.
To your fans enjoy what may happen next year and good luck.

| There weren't any surprise signings - you could almost hear the sighs of relief from rival fans - but the one's confirmed are very impressive IMO.
I am unsure how the 12 newbies stack with the rest of SRDs retained squad, does anyone have an updated list?

Even though there's hidden little digs in that piece ill accept it, what your forgetting is the team that's just won the league this year has players who have all came from the lower table sides and even favourite for man of steel Danny brough was signed from Wakefield, Robinson from a relegated Salford, Ferres from Wakefield as was Scott Grix and Dale Ferguson, and Craig Kopczak from a lowly Bradford Bulls team but hey I don't have a clue how those players are going to turn Huddersfield into league winners? Nope not a clue!
See what I mean about all the rugby league coaching experts they really don't have a clue.
Thank you and good night.

Personally I am pleased that we didnt sign Brett Hodgson - Mullaney a sensible option.
