I don't think we need to make many signings. The squad we have are good enough

to make the top 8 next year. A hooker, Shaun Lunt was brilliant on Saturday but I imagine a fair few club will be after him a couple of forwards are all we need.

Josh Griffin is a massive loss, we have Carney, Vidot to come back and Evalds aswell.

We don't need to splash the cash because we know it

doesnt work. Let's keep the faith with the current players.

You can't dispute how well he's done under the circumstances. My concern isn't with Ian Watson it's the lack of rugby knowledge and experiance above our coach at an administration level that concerns me. With Sheens leaving IW has lost a supportive ally, a constructive critic and an experianced ear. Success and failure can be down to very fine margins and cost cutting in this key area could come back to bite us on the ar$e.

Lama Tasi.

I've read Tommy Lee is going to Saints.

Lama has been suspended by Saints for misdemeanours and they are looking to offload. I wouldn't touch him with a bargepole but we're in talks. Hopefully he goes to Leigh too...

Thought Tasi fell out with Koukash after the fallout with TP, as he was championing the TP camp.

Tasi did not set the world on fire at Saints so either we can improve him or we saw him at his best and the way is down from then.

Vea cannot tackle over 20 minutes so glad Leigh got him.

I agree we don't need to make many changes. Listening to rumours it sounded like half of the squad was on its way but this doesn't appear to be the case.



I thought Lui was sensational at the start of the season but never looked fully fit after his injury. Im hopeful that he will be a key player next season.

I would actually take Tasi on a year deal maybe and then extra if he can show the form he did in the first year he was here. He loves drink though with turning up to training with the likes of Hock and Hood commonplace so if we can kill that trait then we have a raw promising forward. If we do sign him hopefully the suspension by Saints is the kick up the bum he needs.

Making wholesale changes every year just adds instability and increases the odds of signing players that bring problems. I'm sure had we lost last weekend several of our players would have been targets of other SL clubs. Fortunately this squad has much more team spirit and is relatively young so we don't need to replace too much garbage or seasoned veterans. I think after what these players have been through this year it will galvanise them as a group and make them mentally stronger and determined. Robert Lui has been playing on one leg for weeks and Carney was obviously a huge loss in the 8's but we still pulled through. The key now is keeping hold of the nucleus of this young squad and replacing 3-4 players maximum to continue the building process.

Watto seems to sign players he has played with.Koppy,g.o.b,joseph add Walker Hull K.R and Flower Wigan to that list who he has played with.
