These performances are all to regular this is why we will never get 8,000 fans through the gates and people who get free tickets to come see enough to put them off accept it as stone we will never challenge for anything. This is why fans will get fed up of going eventually. I have been going for years and fed up with clubs attitude to fans. The question the Salford board should be asking them selfs is how many will renew tickets next year as everyone is struggling in this climate of austerity. People will not keep supporting a club that don't seem to care about anything and can't see us staying in super league as we will never do anything to attract support playing like this I certainly wondering should I renew next year it is money just thrown away

If Rooted Red hasn't been to watch since we left the Willows,and he still harks back to the Karl Harrison era,then we are well rid.

For the record, the performance for Karl's last game at Catalan was worse than last night,but then I guess he wasn't there either!

[iYou can't defend what went on last during the game, even a blind man could see the Reds got beat up in the first 20 minutes by a much foreful bunch of players,



Fair play to Widnes they came with a game plan and it worked for them.



Certain Reds players need to ask themselves do they really want to play for Salford City Reds because quite simple there are no hiding places at Salford there never has been and there never will if you don't give 100% and bust a gut you will get found out!



I spoke with our coach late after the game and as ever he was very honest.



I feel the Reds players did not only let themselves down last night they let down the whole of the coaching staff who I firmly believe are doing a good job.



But we long standing fans have seen it all before.. AND IT STILL HURTS.

Can we go to Hull FC and win.. Knowing Salford yes we can...

Obviously a lot of you will be feeling crap after getting demolished by a very much improving Vikings team last night, but don't lose heart completely! You'll bounce back. There's always next season...



I'd like to add that I think your new ground is really good, especially the impressive main stand. And your pitch is in A1 condition. Glad we were given the East stand on the night. Only gripe I have is the ages it took to get sorted with tickets at your club shop last night. I miss The Willows though. I know new grounds are the future but I do miss the special atmosphere generated in the old stadiums like The Willows and Knowsley Road.

Listen mate getting to the ground yesterday was a real real hassle. If I thought that after all that I'd be standing for 80 mins I might have decided against it! We had a great atmosphere going anyway. Salford have done the right thing in getting a new place.

Come back to me when you've spent 8 years outside of the top flight in a league where no-one gives a fook, where no-one sees International players, where referees are trained and where no-one dares to come through the turnstiles. 8 years.

In 42 years......... yes we were bad, we let Childs get to us, we let Widnes batter us, but we did the same to them at the start of the season, they have improved since then we were just the same old same old. We for some reason play worse against the clubs below us, like we are brought down to their level. Both sides were bad last night one a lot worse than the other, but if we had played Leeds or Warrington last night with the players showing the same attitude we would have had over 100 put past us. So lets move on and win some more games.

Just for the sake of clarity. You did not LET us batter you. We handed the battering to you by being better in just about every aspect of the game. Yes you may not have had your finest hour last night, but players do not run onto a pitch to deliberately lose a match.



Get over yourself.

Agree Widnes have been improving lots, and we have a strong pack with Kite getting fitter and O Carroll as an addition. Widnes should have beat Catalans and Saints at home,so we are no pushovers anymore, like Salford think we are to be honest.Our team spirit is brilliant and onwards and upwards for Widnes.

What does that make Salford?



I recall some Salford supporters shouting "Widnes Superleague? You're having a laugh".



If I recall, and I think I am right, we beat Huddersfield, Wigan, and only lost to Saints by one point. And we had Mr Hicks for that game!

Old Viking dont forget Catalans at home too and also smashing Castleford.They do not see we are improving or dont want us to be improve?
