What we currently have is just irrelevent. Look at the other clubs and their mascots.



Hull KR (The Robins) = A Robin

Wigan Warriors = Max the Warrior

Bradford Bulls = Bully

Saint Helens = A SAINT Bernard

Catalan Dragons = A Dragon

Huddersfield Giants = a Giant (albeit the smallest giant I've ever seen)

Warrington Wolves = Wolfie

etc etc



Salford City Reds = Wierd Power Ranger thing in an obscenely tight Lycra outfit.

we as the fans of this great club ,must make sure we never lose our history ,we must fight to keep our nickname , so what if united are trying to steal it from us , they cannot have it , the red devils belongs to salford , players in 1934 earned that nickname ,lets not let it go

I totally agree that we are THE ORIGINAL AND BEST RED DEVILS.

We are never going to get rid of UTD using it nor are we ever going to stop the parachute regiments display team using it.

However, does that mean WE should stop? NO WAY PEDRO!!!!



We still have some tenuous links to the devil, look at the top of this page. Now is the time to openly market it again and use it to it's fullest degree. I hardly think the juggernaught that is Utd is going to be that bothered by little old Salford using the name again.
