That back row looks very strong; lots of power and aggression. The half-back combination looks excellent too.

It will take your team a couple of months for your team to jell, but when it does it should be a decent team.from a wire fanatic good luck for the future,and enjoy the ride while you can.

I sat there today and a genuine tear came into my eye as it finally sunk in Salford is now a contender amongst the big teams in SL.



A couple of points from today though. One thing for sure today is that we have seen the future way the club will be run on an uber professional base, I think more money would have been spent today on this event that went into marketing the last game at the Willows and the first game at Barton.



The cheer for Chase and Hock was amazing but I was surprised and pleased that when Jake Mullaney was announced the level went up a notch - I guess I'm not the only one who thinks getting him could be a master stroke.



I liked the ironic mutterings when Barker was mentioned for being a good journo.



All in all what a brilliant event, I now can't wait to see who they have identified for 2015 as if this lot are anything to go buy we will have God, Allah and Buddha as our starting front row.



Just read that Chase and Hock are on 4 yr deals which to me is a massive statement and offers the club the chance to build going forward around class players.

Good look Red Devils! think the branding looks fantastic, and the signings a both quality players but also add a bit of controversy (Hock & Chase) both of which are what's needed to get noticed in the press/local area, and hopefully get those crowds up. Will be great for Super League if you can improve and make the competition for Playoff spots more intense.

I think the important thing to remember is Koukash has said there will be more signings for next season and they are already recruiting for 2015 with some big names mentioned.

Well, after spending the day within a news blackout I'm proper pleased after seeing the announcements today. The Dr is the real deal and I'm glad now that the doubters and negs (Some from Salford as well as others) are staying pretty quiet. It's a fantastic start to the 2014 season and this rollercoaster's only just started.
