| I must admit that our performance yesterday was very very poor, but I don't think people should be making knee-jerk reactions after two games in charge.
On a positive note I thought our fans were great... quite a lot of us and very vocal!

| The games at warrington and wigan were never going to end well.
We dont have a pack to compete with them yet.
The real test comes against bradford.

| Even against Bradford we could be in for a hiding. Easter Monday they had played a hard game a couple of days before (As so had we) but they are doing ok this season plus they will be fired up after the result again London.
We are not going to see us go from Bottom to Top overnight. We have to give Noble at least all next season if not longer. It took fergie 4 years to reap the rewards of what he put in place at utd when he arrived. As long as we continue to build over the next couple of years i will be happy with that so long as we are putting the right structures in place off the field.

| I was led to believe that when JW left the club would be much more transparent, information would be forthcoming, and the club would be much more supporter-friendly.
Can anyone inform me if Stu Donlan has been appointed as an assistant ? Is he 'part of the vision' and on a contract or is he only here on a match to match basis ? Will the situation change depending on the appointment of head coach at Featherstone ?
As a certain individual still appears to dislike Noble I cannot see any signing(s) from Melbourne Storm, given the role at that club by that individual.( RLW for June - page 62 )
My personal thanks to the vociferous supporters who raised spirits during the second half with their rendition of 'Ole,Ole,Salford away'.Plus the accompanying handclapping.I made it 20 minutes minimum.
I challenge you all to starting 1 minute prior to kick off at The Etihad and to last longer than 20/25 minutes.

| I guess this is another thread in it own right but.
Media Communication is poor.
Gone are the old fashioned press releases and we get some half ars*d facebook post now and again.
I have not got a clue what is going on with the men these days. This is in some part a free newspaper (at least city centre), be good if we get this communication sorted here.
We only get the negative rantings of neil barker talking to some old has been.
May be the club could send him or the MEN press releases instead of the made-up sh*t he is currently putting out.
Club news seems to be non-existant.
We need to build a media presence it nots hard, hire an unemployed media\marketing graduate I am sure they are easy enough to find in the current job market.
A weekly email from the club with whats going on would be a start at least we would feel connected to the club.

I thought Mr Barker spoke very well on our behalf, after yesterdays game.So did Mr Noble our new coach, who as we no has won everything on offer in the domestic game, although some are now asking questions of him on the forum. Some on here mention marketing surely we employ somebody to do that now,is it that they are not good enough,or is there nothing to market.Wilkinson got rid of Tarry,Koucash got rid of Simms and Vievers other than that every thing is the same,Sir Alex Ferguson said only last week for the team to be good every thing else in the club as got to be the same.his that the case with us.I think the good Doctor as got to get in the real world and understand it could be as long as five years for us to be any ware near the top,if we ever get there.I think we have some bricks and a good bricklayer in Brian Noble, now it is up to the Doctor to supply more quality material where it is needed either on the playing side,or any where else for that matter, the sooner the better.
Also we have got some youngsters coming along, then again only a small percentage might make it in the game at the top level, that's why in my opinion the people in charge of youth development have got to be right and that is not a dig at anyone,in a perfect world we should not be playing Fages Evalds and Sneyd every week it could come back to hurt us.In Brian we trust.

That's exactly the position any sensible fan should adopt.
We ,as fans, have far more to prove to Noble by way of support than he has to prove to us.

Donlan was available but to take Hay from Hull , who has coaching experience at Cas & Leeds . I supose is a coup

| I think I had better apologise, then.Obviously the club were waiting for Andy Hay to release himself from Hull and both he and Stu Donlan were able to be announced together.
So,I'm sorry.
It appears [url=http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/legend-shaun-edwards-is-giving-back-93795THIS[/url
led onto.......for all of us now very interested in DEFENCE - [url=http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/rugby_league/4360833/Andy-Hay-set-for-dream-stint-Down-Under.htmlTHIS[/url
I would prefer it if all coaches were living, breathing, sleeping, sweating, eating and drinking in or around Salford, but I certainly wish them all well.
Onwards and upwards;slowly but surely.
The magnificent performance of the SCR supporters yesterday are deserving of their every effort.
Good luck !

Just to clarify I was not refering todays interview with noble. I had not seen the story at that point. I agree Nobles comments are very well put and what we need.
But that interview was lifted from GMR the night before. I am just fed up with the poor journalism and media exposure that does not help our club.
