Reading in today's League Express, Garry Schofield's column with him assessing the Super League's seasons performances, their outstanding player.

Well he is correct saying that Our Season was awful.

But to say that Stephen Wild had a good season, well.

He also calls our new team Dad's Army and does not think will gel as a team I stand to be corrected but I think our average age for next season is lower than last seasons

No mention of Warrington and Leeds Dads Army teams

No point in worrying. It's not like the rest of SL takes any notice of him or anything...

Garry Schofield has disliked Salford even since a Schofield family member wasn't retained by our academy a few years back. It's simply personal and he takes every opportunity he can to put the boot in.



I wouldn't concern yourself with his predictions. Did anyone else see his tweet during the GF when he commented game over at 16-2 to Warrington?

why are people talking about comments made in league express from an average ex-player. he wasnt a good player all he did was just follow the ball about as a back up and got on the end of a move.... take no notice of him like wirecutter said its a personal thing he has against the club because his son wasnt even good enough to get taken on by salford... if he was good enough a bigger club at the time would have taken him on. so mr over rated schofield please be quiet... you are starting to sound like eddie and stevo

Agree he was a fine player in his prime but he was a failure as a coach and he's a terrible pundit.

He's a d-mn good pundit, he's got us "talking".

How hard is it to make inaccurate comments to get a reaction? My definition of a good pundit in someone that's knowledgeable and interesting to listen to.

TBH you wouldn't have needed to pay homage to the Oracle of Delphi to forecast our Difficult season just gone.



A quick search on other teams ( Hull Leeds Wigan ) pages will also lead to similar bouts of Bovine excrement from him .



There's something comforting about the periodic rants by G Schofield Esq predicting doom .

Should be the first quote on the Changing room wall 2014.

At least it makes a change from the usual 'won't win a game' predictions.



Also I don't think we did too badly the last time we were labelled as a 'dads army' outfit.
