just noticed on the salfordian Video that interview with Holdsworth. Basically saying that Parishs training for the last couple of days has been the most 'intense he's done ina long time'



Kinda scary in the sense that it makes you think/wonder if our training over the years has been somewhat less than professional. I hope its not been a total joke behind the scenes!!

Good luck Salford fans. Mr Parish isn't held in high regard by the players he has coached previously. It's true he does have friends in high places who are happy to recommend him. I hope he does well but I really have my doubts. I predict short term success but in 12 months time you will be shaking your head.

Do you got to your place of employment to be liked and make friends or do a good job?



I couldn't care one jot if the players don't like him as a person as long as they respect him as a coach, can think of a few managers of professional sporting teams who are not likeable but do a brilliant job and have the upmost respect of thier players and peers.

That's a very good point. He is highly regarded by other coaches but at some point the players play for their coach. I hope he is successful because he hasn't had any in Aus.

So how many teams has Parish been Head Coach of then...??

Rockhampton side in Qld Cup competition called the Central Comets. He was also coach of Nth Qld Young guns in Qld Cup comp. He was also coach of a central coast side also. Maybe Erina. Will find out. He was assistant to Graham Murray at Cowboys and spent 1 year with Neil Henry who then chose not to keep him on staff.
