According to the guys who commentate for Radio Manchester, after the game, dressing room door was shut .JW and SS emerged but politely declinded to be interviwed.

GMR broadcast Friday's interview with SM during the rugby league phone in yesterday. He sounded very very out of sorts to me - long pauses, shaky voice and the like.

I thought the same. Sounded very emotional. Almost felt sorry for him we need to lay of the personal insults.

Agreed, i am as angry as the next person but we dont need to stoop so low. As much as I dislike him at this present moment I really dont think he is doing it on purpose. That said, he needs to go.

Apparently he was very upset by the venom directed towards him. I have to say I will join in (as I did fri) with the McRae out stuff, but I won't join in the fatty out and other personally insulting stuff chanted at him.

I Agree, even though I thought the rugby was bad, I also thought it was disgusting what was shouted at mcrea. I really think we need to just get behind the team. I think it's obvious that jw won't be happy with our performances so he will make the decision. Fans who throw personal insults just sound like thugs in my opinion. The sort of people such as the ones who are shouting personal insults at the coach and others are as embarrassing as the teams performance in the last two matches.



People see and hear what they want to see and hear,and it must be costing the club a fortune for the stewards who walk on and off with the coach, this money could be going towards the salary cap.



I heard one interview by the coach where in my opinion he accepted full responsibility for the performance against St Helens but people wont accept that they want more.



I thought at the time of his appointment that 4.5 years was too long but the club board must have thought that it was ok and after all they have been putting up the money to keep the club going.



If the "thugs" that you refer to feel let down how do they think that the Chairman and the other directors feel?

He can accept responsibility until the cows come home but until he has done something about it or quit then it won't be enough. And he has shown no inclination to do either. And as for calling people 'thugs' who are calling for McRae to go give me a break.
