So not only do you expect the RFL to produce a half price England shirt but also an Australian shirt for less than the Aussies sell them for?



As Headhunter says, a lack of availability is a legitimate gripe. The fact you want shirts dirt cheap isn't.

If anyone hears of anywhere in London you can buy them let me know. I don't mind paying £45, but as RL shirt sizes can be so random I'd like to try one on first...

I want to see a new Great Britain jersey soon.

And people wonder why the game doesn't attract blue-chip sponsors.



Despite what you clearly think from your post, "marketing" is not "stacking 'em high & selling 'em cheap".

The shirts aren't particularly expensive, but when compared to the price of discounted tickets for the RLWC where some adult tickets cost as little as £5, the shirt becomes nine times more expensive than a matchday ticket.



Unfortunately, the game itself has played a major role in turning it's products into a heavily discounted one's, therefore the culture of the sport is awash with discounted offers which the fans now expect across the whole spectrum of the game.

FFS one fan wants shirts cheap and suddenly the whole game wants things cheap due to the rfl doing the right thing and filling stadiums. Change the tune William your getting boring!

£45 is fair enough. The main issue is how long it took to go on sale and limited places to buy it in person.

You're the one who claimed the game is what it is, and that £10 and £15 ticket prices for the RLWC games were unrealistically priced too high, hence the need to fill stadia by selling those tickets at a discounted of price for £5 and £7.50. You even applaud the RFL for doing that.



I'm in agreement with you and would urge the RFL to go further by giving tickets away for free if that's what it takes to fill stadia for all the games.

Yep, not having them all avail on the RLWC store, at the grounds during the end of the season those countries will be using and at games is just plain stupid.

DW Sports in Warrington has loads of replica gear including England, Australia and NZ jerseys. I was confused though as to why only two England shirts out of 30 or so on the rack had the World Cup logo.

I know in the past the shop at the Leeds ground has stocked NRL shirts etc. Hopefully they will have a better selection there when NZ play PNG.
