Where did u book those mate? do they go out of picadilly? I know I can do Barrow-Picadilly for a £10 so from there £35 to london is probably more convenient than the car. |

Has the tenner a ticket offer been advertised anywhere outside of the net/rugby league press???
Have the London free papers and perhaps the Western Mail in Wales been used to publicise it and thats without involving the local press in Yorkshire and Lancashire.

The cheap 3 month advance returns don't seem to always appear for weekend travel. We struggled to get anything reasonable to go to Manchester for the Grand Final. Its cheaper and easier for us to buy group save tickets, which we can buy on the morning of travel - 4 travel for the price of 2. You can travel on any offpeak train then too, rather than being restricted. South Eastern and Southern do this, don't know about Northern operators. |

I live and work in London - I've not seen it in either of the free papers which I look through most days. Its a shame because the price point is a great move to publicise the game down here - a tenner for a day out at Wembley is a bargain compared to almost anything else you can see there. Me and my Dad are taking 10 others and only one of them has been to a live game before. But if they didn't happen to be mates with a northerner in exile, they would never have even heard about the game. There must be a lot of opportunities being missed. |
