Sorry that's a load of hooey! The people holding the sport "back" are either the SL Clubs heading by Lenagan and McManus, or the RFL and Hetherington, or even Sky, not the opinions of an Internet forum that in reality has no effect compared to the others.

Jack Bussey (Toronto Wolfpack) pleaded guilty to the Grade F Biting charge vs Toulouse. He was given an 8 match suspension and a £250 fine. In addition in the same game he had accepted a 1 match penalty notice for a high tackle. As the biting offence was committed prior to the high tackle under the sentencing guidelines, the 1 match suspension was increased to 2 matches. Making a total of 10 matches.

Where's he going to end up now? If Toronto have retained his registration, then he will count the 3 games including the MPG as suspended, so he will miss about 1/3rd of next year.......he;ll be lucky to collect a wage from the game until at least April/May 2019......silly silly boy!

To be honest I would have given him 20 matches with no chance of appealing and that would stop any one else from doing it we do not want it in our game

No it wouldn’t.

It absolutely won't stop anyone else doing it - but it's important to send a strong message to the people both within and outwith the game, that there is zero tolerance for this kind of behaviour.
