I still remember Oakwell being the answer many years ago but they only played one game ther to appease the RFL at the time and went back to Belle Vue.
Have you noticed that NRL clubs are playing at their former grounds where feasible.
Perhaps the people who run the game may not be the experts they thought they were/are!

Why worry about Wakefield? They are headed for the Championship anyway.
Mind you, it would be good for Wakefield to have a stadium that is at least of Championship quality for the 2016 or 2017 seasons.

Oh come on, I'm just taking the mick re: how Wakefield always think Peter Box is conspiring against them, when he's just doing his job. I hope for one that Wakefield find a way to get in on this stadium somehow, whether it's shared, but the council isn't your enemy here. |
