Enjoyable game. Bit cringeworthy with Eddie convinced that every viewer is actually a 'soccer' fan, not to mention the begging from Wilkin just now for people to turn up to the Magic Weekend. Too many of the commentators (and now the players it seems!) are far too concerned with wanting a marketing job than just letting the product do the talking - particularly annoying after a game as good as tonight!

I also noticed early on when a player picked up a knock that Eddie started going on about how football fans might be shocked and wondering why a player got up and kept playing on. That's right Eddie, patronise any football fans watching, that'll get them interested!

Saturdays every time for me.

Maybe the football fans are just like us and don't take any notice of his inane ramblings.

Miles better than a saturday when games are all over the place. Didnt seem to do effect the attendance.



I wonder what all these soccer fans do when their teams play hundreds of miles away on week night?

I wasn't sure about a Monday game but I enjoyed it - having watched the Friday game and been to the lads game on Saturday, it's nice to have a break; if nothing else, it did wonders for marital harmony over the weekend and got me out of an evening of watching documentaries about fat people/gypsies/obsessive hoarders or whatever other drivel was on the telly last night.



Good to see both sets of supporters out in numbers too - it was quite a spectacle.

I would have liked the Friday and Saturday/the ocasional Sunday night games kept with an extra match on the Monday.
