1 of only 5 players currently in SL that have won an Ashes series. SOO winner and Wilkin can't even get selected. Doesn't say much, no.

Not really. Just better than Wilkin.

Riiiiiiight.

Wilkin is an excellent player. The Saints boo boys were on his case for years (some still are) before opinions started to change. He is not and never will be your traditional blockbusting second row. But he excels in all the areas most fans can't be d understanding: His fitness and workrate are prodigious, he tackles aggressively and a stone above his weight (almost always the first player in to challenge the opposition's strongest forward), he supports the ball carrier (which has seen him bag a number of tries in big games), he's an intelligent player with hand and foot and has a terrific attitude. In the close season he appears to have tweaked his game to the point where he's making two or three times the number of clean breaks he did previously,



Definitely one of the first names on the teamsheet at Saints.

Wilkin excellent?

Phil Collins and Phil Bailey - Easy Lover



Always thought he was wrong to change careers, should have stuck with the singing

I am pretty sure that Bailey would look better than Wilkin in the world class saints team. Bailey has played SOO and played for Aus. Bailey would be a great team player but we don't have a team so he is completely useless.



Wilkin has the odd good game but most of the time just keeps his reputation by looking interested and trying to get involved.

Everyone seems to keep bringing up Baileys SOO appearences, yet when Saints do the same about Flannery, they get told he's still average?





Bailey isn't in the same league as Wilkin.

Flannery played around the world class players of saints but Bailey is stuck with our rubbish players, but Flannery was still average in a truely amazing team.
